Prior to establishing the Law Offices of Stage & Associates, P.A., Barbara Stage was a solo practitioner with the Law Offices of Barbara Billiot Stage, P.A. With 95% of her practice devoted to community association law. She was also an Assistant Regional Counsel with the State of Florida practicing in dependency court. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Stage was a paralegal. Her previous employment includes working for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts and Lockheed Martin.

Stephen A. Talmadge, Esq.

Experience

Prior to becoming an associate at the Law Offices of Stage and Associates, LCDR (retired) Dr. Stephen Alfred Talmadge, Jr. was employed by a public defender, working on cases that involved involuntary commitment in psychiatric facilities. Steve was selected as a law clerk at the U. S. Attorney’s office in Orlando during law school. Before his legal career began, Steve was awarded a Ph.D. in psychology, after which he served as a licensed psychologist during his 20 year career in the Navy. In 1993, he became a Diplomate in Forensic Psychology, performing evaluations and testifying in military proceedings for all services, worldwide. He is published in both psychological and legal journals.

License & Affiliations

Steve is licensed by the Florida Bar, is a recommended attorney of the Citizen’s Commission on Human Rights, and is on the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Association of Central Florida. He volunteers weekly at Health Central Hospital and is a licensed private pilot.
